Process Paper

Discussion

The process paper must tell how to do something in a logical manner. The first paragraph must tell why the reader needs to know how to do this process, and it must list all materials needed in the process.Something not listed in the first paragraph cannot appear in the process, and all items listed must appear in the process. The first sentence in the first paragraph must name the process. The paper must follow the order of the process, but it must contain one “oops” step in which something goes wrong and then retrace the steps to correct the problem. The final paper should completely describe the process. For example, the process of designing a nuclear submarine cannot fit into a simple five hundred-word paper.Be sure that the process described fits the length requirements of the assignment.A process paper fits well a simple process such as making a cake, or it can fit something fun such as becoming a member of Saturday School for a month.Special points accrue for creative thinking and good writing, but almost any process can fit the assignment. The paper cannot just list steps and items. It must follow a paper format.
